No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text messaging services who need this information to deliver messages on our behalf.

We send text messages only to people who have provided their mobile number and consented to receive them. Messages we send are transactional and relate to a specific loaner vehicle transaction, such as confirming a vehicle checkout, providing access to vehicle documents, or requesting feedback after a vehicle is returned.

You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. See our Messaging Terms for full details.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information in the following circumstances:

Service providers. We use third-party vendors to operate our platform. These providers process information on our behalf and are contractually limited to that purpose. They currently include providers of cloud hosting and databases, payment processing, email delivery, and text messaging.

Repair shops. A shop receives information about the loaner vehicles placed at its location, the drivers it checks those vehicles out to, and the resulting custody and condition records.

Vehicle hosts. A host receives information about the placement, utilization, and condition of its own vehicles, including incident reports involving those vehicles. Hosts do not receive driver license numbers or dates of birth.

Insurance carriers and claims administrators. When a claim arises, we share the records necessary to evaluate and resolve it, which may include driver information, agreements, photographs, and inspection records.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Loanr, our users, or the public.

Business transfers. If Loanr is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide our services and for a reasonable period afterward to satisfy legal, insurance, tax, and record keeping obligations. Records related to vehicle custody, driver agreements, and incidents are retained longer than other records because they may be relevant to insurance claims and liability.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including encrypted transmission, access controls, and row-level security on our databases. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices

  • Text messages. Reply STOP to any message to opt out.

  • Email. Use the unsubscribe link in marketing emails. We will still send transactional messages related to your account or loaner vehicle.

  • Account information. Shops and hosts can review and update their information within the Loanr applications.

  • Access and deletion. You can request a copy of your information or ask us to delete it by contacting us at the address below. We may retain information where we have a legal obligation or legitimate business need to do so, including insurance and liability records.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Loanr does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.

9. Children

The Loanr platform is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Loaner vehicles are provided only to licensed adult drivers.
